Formal Attire — Garden-Inspired Elegance

We invite you to dress to impress for our special day! We kindly request formal attire so think floor-length gowns, or dressy jumpsuits for ladies, and suits or tuxedos for gentlemen.We’ve included our color palette and inspiration photos below to help with styling and color choices.A few things to keep in mind:As our ceremony will be held in the garden, we recommend keeping comfort in mind when choosing your footwear — block heels or wedges are a great alternative to stilettos on grass. Ladies, you may also want to consider a wrap or light jacket for the ceremony, as it can get breezy outdoors.

Getting in

Montreal is served by Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL), with direct flights from most major US and Canadian cities. If you're driving, Montreal is about 5 hours from Toronto and Boston. VIA Rail also offers a scenic train option from Toronto and Quebec City!

Getting Around

From the airport, taxis, Uber, and the 747 express bus are easy options to get downtown. Montreal has an excellent metro system, so you can get around the city without a car perfectly fine. If you are planning on driving around the city, one thing to remember is you can't turn right on red in Montreal :)

Neighborhoods we would recommend

Old Port (Vieux-Montréal): For the ones who want to feel like they're in Europe with cobblestone streets and stunning architecture.Griffintown: For the modern minimalists — a sleek, trendy neighbourhood with great cocktail bars and easy access to everything.NDG (Notre-Dame-de-Grâce): For the laid-back crowd who want a cozy, residential feel with charming cafés and tree-lined streets away from the tourist buzz.The Plateau: For the free spirits and foodies, colourful Victorian row houses, incredible restaurants, and the best people-watching in Montreal.Mile End: For the cool kids: indie coffee shops, vintage stores, bagel wars, and best neighborhood to walk around and explore.Downtown (Centre-Ville): For the ones who want to be in the thick of it with walking distance to shopping malls, restaurants, and easy Uber access to the venue.

This is the most convenient option if you're planning to get in &amp; out as it’s connected to Montréal–Trudeau Airport so you don’t need to leave the terminal. The venue is about a 10‑minute drive away. There are some other options around the airport but not connected.

Our favorite bagel shop in Montreal. There are a numbered of them across town, but this is the only sit-down spot they offer. Get an all-dressed bagel for us please!

Did you even go to Montreal if you have not gone to Orange Julep? Get a medium orange julep and a small poutine or if you like hotdog, get a Michigan. Or honestly just a gallon of orange julep!

This is THE BEST AYCE Japanese BBQ spot! We love this spot and James had probably been here about two dozen times! Anticipate some wait time if you are going on the weekend but do not miss!
